EVE Trust Services preserves, witnesses, and verifies governance evidence across models, agents, providers, and time. Now available in controlled preview for selected design partners — hosted verification, cryptographic custody manifests, and externally witnessable evidence infrastructure. Evidence custody and managed witnessing remain subject to production-readiness and contractual approval.
EVE CoreGuard already signs every decision with an Ed25519 certificate anyone can verify offline. Trust Services is the layer above it: it witnesses those signed records externally, keeps their custody provable, and gives auditors a structured way to verify them at scale — without trusting EVE.
Evidence roots are submitted to an independent witness and published to a transparency log, so a decision's inclusion can be checked by a party that is not EVE. A root is only marked witnessed after the receipt actually verifies.
Controlled previewThe /v1/trust/verifier API returns valid / invalid / indeterminate verdicts (key revoked, key unknown, unsupported schema), with a signed report for bounded bulk verification — the mechanics an auditor needs to check many records at once.
Signed custody manifests attest what evidence is held, for which tenant, and under what retention — a provable chain of custody. Custody is a service, not a transfer of rights: customers retain ownership of their evidence at all times. This is not legal escrow.
Controlled previewA key registry tracks decision-signing keys (active / retired / revoked) so verification can reflect key state — the first revocation surface for governance evidence. A record signed by a revoked key verifies as such, not silently as valid.
Available todayVerification needs only the signed record and EVE's published public key — no EVE call, no shared secret. The full canonicalization and signing rules are documented for the current eve.decision.v3 certificate schema.

Deterministic pre-execution governance, per-decision Ed25519 signatures, offline verification, and the eve-coreguard / eve-proof SDKs are live and in customer hands today.
